Why is eLMA better than the standard MS Excel file?
For those who are running the LIFE + project for the first time: enables better management of large projects by monitoring key aspects of its implementation (limits, expense monitoring, templates of time sheets etc.).
For those who are running the LIFE project for the first time: enables better management of large projects by monitoring key aspects of its implementation (limits, expense monitoring, templates of time sheets etc.)
For those who have already run or run a LIFE project: It helps to manage projects that are run mostly "in the field", supports document archiving and accesses to key documents and information for all project’s team members.
For everyone: it allows you to fine-tune your application specifically for your project, saves time by allowing archiving of documents in one location and access for all employees, and has been tested in one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Poland running several LIFE projects.
How do I enable eLMA subscription as eligible LIFE project costs?
If you are planning to submit a proposal: Plan appropriate expenditures in “other costs” of management actions/work packages or as “overheads” in overall budget;
If you are already executing a project: the costs of implementing and operating of eLMA in your project may be included as eligible overhead costs, provided that the total cost of this category does not exceed the limits set out in the Common Provisions (7% of eligible expenditure excluding land purchase/lease/one-off compensation costs). Such support may also be qualified for the project under the category "External assistance". The cost of eLMA for a duration of up to 5 years does not exceed the allowable variation under the Common Provisions (30 000 euro) and the thresholds under the Public Procurement Law.
Is the use of eLMA secure?
Access to eLMA is secured by the following means:
Communication with the eLMA server is via HTTPS. This is a world-wide standard of data security that prevents unauthorized interception of messages.
Access to eLMA is secured via login and secure passwords, as in Internet banking (encryption with secure e-sign)
The eLMA server runs on the Amazon Web Services cloud computing - a secure and efficient, world-renowned platform used by companies such as Nokia, Adobe and Philips.
